Where to Play

Florida Lottery games are designed to be a fun, low-cost form of entertainment with the added benefit of helping fund education. While most of our players enjoy the fun and entertainment of playing our games, for some, gambling of any kind can be a problem.

Based on a 2016 Survey of Problem Gambling Services, conducted by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), an estimated 1.1% of Florida adults are believed to have gambling-related problems. And while this is among the lowest per capita of all states in the nation, people with this problem cannot safely manage any kind of wagering.

To assist individuals and families struggling with addiction, the Florida Lottery encourages them to contact the Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling (FCCG), which offers a variety of free services to callers based on the needs of the individual. Callers are given the opportunity to share about the problems they are experiencing so they may be connected with the appropriate resources. Their multilingual Helpline number is: 888-ADMIT IT (888-236-4848)

Winning Lottery Ticket Bought at a Jersey Shore Wawa Worth $161K

Here are some warning signs that you may have a ticket in your pocket/purse that may be worth $161,001:

  • You play the New Jersey Lottery.
  • You visit Wawa.
  • You play Jersey Cash 5.
  • You recently purchased a Jersey Cash 5 New Jersey Lottery Ticket at Wawa.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes? If so, let’s get to the good stuff!

On Sunday (December 27th, 2020), the New Jersey Cash 5 drawing yielded the following numbers: 15, 22, 24, 38, and 45. The XTRA number was 05. The winning ticket was purchased at the Wawa on Highway 33 in Freehold in Monmouth County. Now, is it all coming into focus? Check your tickets!

The jackpot was enough to buy several cars, use as a big down payment for a new house, or pay for college. I’d imagine there’s more you could do with it, but that’s where I’d go. Now, if you’re hoping to buy your own arena, a bunch of mansions, or other 9 figure goodies, you may want to consider playing Power Ball or Mega Millions. Those prizes are HUGE.

The next New Jersey Power Ball drawing is this Saturday and the top prize is $384 million. If you choose the cash option your winning ticket will pay $295 million. Slightly bigger, New Jersey Lottery’s Mega Millions drawing is this Friday and the top prize is $401 million. Settle for immediate cash and you’ll have $305 million at your disposal.

Check your tickets. You may be ending 2020 on a high note! ]]>
